About our video production company
Founded in Gatineau, Quebec, VideoConnectSharp has spent over a decade helping organizations tell their stories through powerful, purposeful video content. We believe every brand has a narrative worth sharing—and we are here to capture it.
Our story
From a two-person garage studio to a full-service production house.
In 2012, co-founders Isabelle Tremblay and Marcus Chen pooled their savings, bought a second-hand cinema camera, and started filming wedding highlight reels from a converted garage in Gatineau. What began as weekend passion projects quickly evolved into a thriving business as word spread about the cinematic quality and heartfelt storytelling they delivered.
By 2016, the team had grown to eight full-time creatives and relocated to a purpose-built studio on Hugo Pike. Corporate clients, nonprofits, and government agencies began seeking out VideoConnectSharp for everything from brand documentaries to social media campaigns. The studio expanded again in 2020, adding a dedicated sound stage, colour-grading suite, and animation lab.
Today, we are a team of twenty-two professionals—directors, cinematographers, editors, animators, and producers—united by a single conviction: that well-crafted video is the most effective way to connect with an audience. Our client roster spans healthcare, technology, education, real estate, and the arts, and we continue to invest in the latest equipment and techniques to stay at the forefront of visual storytelling.
