From the first conversation to final delivery, every phase is designed to keep you informed and involved.
Discovery and consultation
Every project begins with a conversation. During our free discovery call—typically thirty to forty-five minutes—we learn about your organization, your target audience, the goals of the video, and any creative preferences you have in mind. We ask questions about distribution channels, desired length, tone, and budget range. This information forms the foundation of a tailored proposal that outlines scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost. There is no obligation at this stage; the call is simply an opportunity for us to understand your needs and for you to gauge whether we are the right fit.
Creative development and pre-production
Once you approve the proposal and sign off on the project agreement, our creative team gets to work. We develop a concept document that includes the narrative arc, visual style references, and key messaging points. If the project requires a script, our copywriters draft it and present it for your review. We then create a detailed storyboard or shot list so you can visualize the final product before a single frame is captured. Simultaneously, our production coordinator handles logistics: scouting locations, booking talent, scheduling crew, arranging equipment, and securing any necessary permits. You receive a comprehensive production schedule with milestones and check-in dates.
Production and filming
Shoot day is where preparation meets execution. Our crew arrives early to set up lighting, audio, and camera rigs, ensuring everything is tested and calibrated before talent steps on set. A director guides the creative vision on location while a producer manages the schedule, making sure we capture every planned shot—plus opportunistic moments that add authenticity. For multi-day shoots, we provide a daily progress summary so you know exactly what has been filmed and what is coming next. Clients are welcome on set; many find it rewarding to see their story taking shape in real time.
Post-production and editing
After the shoot wraps, our editors begin assembling the footage. The first step is a rough cut—a structural edit that establishes pacing, scene order, and narrative flow. We share this cut with you for feedback before moving into the fine cut, where we refine transitions, add motion graphics, apply colour grading, mix audio, and integrate music. Sound design is handled in-house, including ambient soundscapes, foley effects, and voiceover sweetening. If your project includes animation, our motion graphics team works in parallel to ensure animated elements integrate seamlessly with live-action footage.
Review and revisions
We present the fine cut for your review along with a simple feedback form that helps you organize your notes by timecode. Two rounds of revisions are included in every project. The first round addresses any structural or content changes—swapping scenes, adjusting messaging, changing music. The second round focuses on polish: fine-tuning colour, adjusting text placement, and perfecting audio levels. Our goal is to reach a final product you are genuinely proud to share, and our revision process is designed to get there efficiently without endless back-and-forth.
Delivery and ongoing support
Once you sign off on the final cut, we export the video in every format and aspect ratio your distribution plan requires. Files are delivered via a secure cloud link with no expiration, so you can download them whenever you need. We also provide a brief distribution guide with recommended upload settings for each platform. But our relationship does not end at delivery. We offer ongoing support including re-edits for future campaigns, repurposing long-form content into social clips, and seasonal refreshes. Many of our clients return year after year because they know they can count on consistent quality and a team that already understands their brand.
